These policies govern your use of the Featora marketplace. They are written in plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, contact us before you rely on it. Nothing in these policies excludes rights you hold under the Australian Consumer Law.
Applies to everyone who browses or uses Featora.
Featora is operated by MyTasks Pty Ltd (trading as Featora), an Australian company. Featora is a marketplace for product customization: Buyers describe the custom product they need, and either Featora supplies it directly or an independent Product Customization Agent provides sourcing services.
Featora Direct: your contract is with MyTasks Pty Ltd (trading as Featora) for the goods it supplies. Agent path: Featora operates a directory where independent Product Customization Agents advertise their services under a paid subscription. The Agent you choose is responsible for the agreed service; you contract with and pay that Agent directly. Featora is not a party to that contract and does not process, hold or forward any part of that payment.
Every page that involves a payment decision repeats the disclosure relevant to that decision. If you are ever unsure who you are contracting with, check the notice on the page you are on, or ask us before paying anyone.
Listings, request descriptions, messages and reviews must be accurate, lawful and your own work. By publishing content on Featora you grant us a licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace. We may remove content that is misleading, infringing or in breach of the Prohibited Products and Services policy.
Buyer Reviews are collected only from Buyers who completed an engagement through Featora. Ratings are displayed exactly as submitted. We do not edit, reorder or remove unfavourable reviews; we remove a review only where it breaches law or these policies (for example, abuse or personal data), and we record that removal.
For goods Featora supplies under Featora Direct, you have the benefit of the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms excludes them. For Agent-path engagements, the Agent — not Featora — is responsible for the service you agreed with them; our role is limited to operating the directory, the verification programme and the tools on this site.
We may update these policies. The "Last updated" date above changes whenever we do, and material changes are notified to registered users by email or in the Marketplace Hub before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
Applies to engagements between Buyers and independent Product Customization Agents.
When you appoint an Agent found on Featora, the contract for that work is formed directly between you and the Agent. Featora is not a party to it, does not supervise the work, and does not process, hold or forward the fee. Agree the scope, fee, timeline and deliverables in writing before any work starts.
Keep engagement communication in Featora messaging wherever possible. If a dispute arises, the platform message history is the record both sides — and our Complaints team — can rely on. Agreements made only in private channels are much harder to evidence.
"Certificates Verified" badges mean Featora has sighted the listed document for that Agent. A badge is not an endorsement, a guarantee of work quality, or financial underwriting. Always review the Agent's profile, reviews and disclosures before appointing them.
Agents must disclose any ownership link to, or commission received from, suppliers they recommend. Buyers should ask the Agent to confirm this in writing before appointing them. Undisclosed supplier commissions are a breach of these terms.
First raise the issue with the Agent directly and in writing. If you cannot resolve it, use the Complaints process. Because Featora holds no funds on Agent-path engagements, we cannot compel a refund; we can review evidence, act on the Agent's listing and verification status, and guide you to external remedies.
Applies to online services sold by Featora through Online Engagements.
When you buy online services (for example web development, design, data or economic analysis) from Featora, your contract is with MyTasks Pty Ltd (trading as Featora). These engagements are paid stage by stage — you pay for each stage before it starts — rather than in full upfront, and have their own rules for options, add-ons, revisions, price changes, cancellation and intellectual property.
Read the full Featora Online Services Terms. You are asked to agree to them before accepting a price proposal.
How money moves — and does not move — on Featora.
Direct orders are paid once, in full, at the start of the order. The order page shows the total before you commit. Approved extras (for example additional design revisions beyond the three included free) appear as separate add-on items on the same order and are payable before the related work proceeds.
Featora issues a tax invoice for every Featora Direct payment and every Agent subscription charge. For Agent-path service fees, invoicing is a matter between you and the Agent — request one from the Agent directly.
Featora will never ask you to pay for a Direct order into a personal bank account, by gift card, or through a link sent in chat. If anyone asks you to, stop and report it via Complaints.
Different rules apply to the two transaction paths — check which one your order is on.
You may cancel a Direct order from its order page. The refund depends on how far the order has progressed, because costs are committed at each stage:
| When you cancel | Refund of the order price |
|---|---|
| Before the design draft is approved | 100% |
| After design approval, before production starts | 80% |
| After production starts, before shipment | 50% |
| After the goods have shipped | No cancellation refund — acceptance, warranty and consumer guarantees apply instead |
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Add-on items follow the same table based on whether the related work has started.
Cancellation and refunds for work you agreed with an Agent are governed by your agreement with that Agent. Because Featora does not process or hold your payment, any refund must come from the Agent. Put cancellation terms in writing before work starts — a quotation that says nothing about cancellation protects neither side.
Direct orders: use the cancel action on the order page (Marketplace Hub → Featora Direct Orders). Agent engagements: notify the Agent in writing through platform messaging, then follow your agreed terms.
How MyTasks Pty Ltd (trading as Featora) collects, uses and protects personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We disclose personal information only to service providers who help us run the platform (under confidentiality obligations), where the law requires it, or where you direct us to — for example, the delivery details you provide on a Direct order are given to the carrier delivering it.
You can view and correct most of your details in Marketplace Hub → Settings. For access to other records, corrections we have not exposed in Settings, or account deletion, contact support@featora.com. We respond within 30 days. Some records must be retained where Australian law requires it (for example tax records for Direct orders).
Raise privacy concerns through the Complaints process. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
How to raise a problem, what we do with it, and when.
Include: what happened, when, the order or engagement it concerns, the other party (if any), what outcome you are seeking, and any evidence — platform messages, photos, documents.
Featora is the seller, so we handle these directly: inspection issues raised in the 7-day acceptance window, warranty claims, delivery problems and refunds, under the Cancellation and Refunds policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
We review the platform record and any evidence both sides provide. We can require corrections to a listing, remove verification badges, suspend or remove the Agent, and reflect findings in our records. Because we do not hold funds on Agent-path engagements, we cannot compel the Agent to pay a refund — for monetary remedies we will point you to the appropriate external avenue.
Suspected fake reviews, misleading listings and prohibited items can be reported through the same channels. Review-integrity reports are assessed against the Platform Terms review rules.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your state or territory consumer affairs / fair trading office, or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). For privacy matters, the OAIC. Using our complaints process does not remove any of those rights.
What may not be requested, sourced, listed or supplied through Featora — on either path.
We remove offending listings and requests, may suspend or terminate the accounts involved, and report matters to law enforcement or regulators where the law requires or permits it. Where a prohibited item is discovered on an in-progress Featora Direct order, the order is stopped and handled under the Cancellation and Refunds policy.
Report suspected prohibited items or conduct via Complaints. Reports are confidential.
